The name Lukoli comes from the Choctaw word for “gathered.” We honor and respect the Choctaw people, the original stewards of these lands, and acknowledge that this place carries their history and heritage. At Lukoli Commons, we strive to preserve the spirit of that word — gathering together in care, connection, and gratitude as we tend this land and one another.
